GIA Gem Instruments Corporation. Condition is "Pre-owned".
This has been one of my Gemological Lab polariscopes. I own about 6 in total. Some different brands, some the same, but all top notch. It is used in gemology to determine the optic properties of gemstones and by diamond cutters to determine strain characteristics. Important things that help in identifying characteristics of gemstones.
Anyway. This unit is in very good shape. In order to sell it, we recently replaced the polariscope filters and also the light bulb, so the new owner will not have to put up with having to do it. Bear in mind the filters and light bulbs, have a tendency to last in what appears forever. We just wanted to be nice about it.
